What's new

Elfrid Payton

I don't know his game, but i think a back-up PG is a solid pick in the late 1st round. Personally, I am hoping for Glen Robinson III. Physically a perfect small forward, who can shoot, get to the basket, and defend… when motivated. If he went out last year, he would have been a late lottery pick, but lack of drive and seemingly improvement as a leader hurt his stock. He could prove to be the steal of the draft though.

GRIII is NOT perfect sized for SF. He is the same size as Burks. He was very overrated last year.

I agree he is in the mix at 23, that is why I hope the Jazz keep their picks instead of bringing in guys like Lucas III. Jazz could get a really good player at 23 with all the people declaring. There are several interesting SF/SG that will be available. I just can't wait until we know where we are going to draft. I am really excited about this draft. It could change the future of the organization either way.

Elfrid Payton will probably rise in the draft since there aren't many PG's available. Might be gone at 23.

Pass on Robinson III - he has all the tools, but hasn't remotely put it together yet. No in-between game whatsoever. I think there will be countless players on the wing available better than him with our later pick.
