Enes Kanter ceiling ???

If Kanter can drop stats like this, coming out of injury, without playing any competition on consistent basis for the last 3-4 years, what do you think is his ceiling ?

I think that their is no doubt about it, that he is special.

If Kanter didn't turn the ball over so much, and played a little bit better defensive he would have Kevin Mchale type all star potential.

Kanter is completely mailing it in on defense on many possessions and he has to stop doing that or I have to start being a lot more skeptical. Corbin needs to show an ounce of toughness at some point. Or maybe he doesn't since his days might be numbered.

Both areas he needs to work on but he will. I'd also add defensive rebounding to that list. I have high hopes for Kanter.

He had 0 t/o's last night. It also has looked like he has been trying defensively the past couple nights, but that our point gaurds, and Richard Jefferson are messing up their rotations, thus causing problems defensively in the paint (choice of who to gaurd and get closest to).

Kanter is flat out carrying this team right now. If you want better defense from him, you will need to get him some help in other aspects of the game. He just looks worn right now. The early heavy game schedule and depleted roster has been unkind to this point, admittedly.

I don't know what I think of Kanter. I don't know if he is McHale or Al Jefferson. The good news is, we have two years to find out. We will know what Kanter is when it comes time for an extension or when he is a RFA.

I right there with you on this. However he is already a better defender than Al. But not by much YET. But i'm hopeful that his defense will approve as he gets stronger and in better condition. Once he's doing it on both ends and taking out the likes of Lopez. Watch out!

Okay, I can agree that his defensive problems don't all start with his isolated play on the court, but he's a strong dude and for two straight games I watched him give up position so easily I feel like Tinsley could've posted him up for a layup. As they say around campus here, "Play Angry!" His offense is pretty stellar, all things considered, but the nasty has to come out on both ends of the court.

Richard Jefferson has been trying to clean up Enes missed rotations. He's the one guy out there doing it right.

Enes has huge upside, but he makes a ton of mental mistakes on D. Experience will help him.
