Enes Kanter Highlights vs. Wizards

Thanks for making this one prodigy. Love watching these game when Kanter just overpowers everyone under the hoop.

He is learning. In the Laker game he used his body to get shots off at the rim. He needs to pass it back out when it's bodies packed in like sardines.

If he gets a rebound right under the rim I would rather see him do a quick put back. Passing out is way to hard because of the congestion. He should be able to make the basket, or get fouled at a high enough rate in time.

grumble grumble grumble...

Ya I agree w/most of the posters here. Kanter sucks. Who cares that he hadn't played in almost 2 years? Who cares that he's only 19? Who cares that he displays better fundamentals than all the bigs on our team? Who cares that he's our best rebounder?

He doesn't have Jeremy Evans hops and has gotten blocked a few times down low so he must suck! Trade him to the Lakers for a future 2nd rounder!

Kanter is a beast I would not trade him for anyone right now. How long did it take for Andrew Bynum to flesh out. The lakers had him under there wing for three seasons before he became productive on the floor for them. Kanter is only going to get bigger, stronger and faster in his next five-six seasons. We can also expect him to still develop a nice touch around the basket, because he has a nice touch on his free throws. If our trauners are worth thier own salt they will help Kanter become a future all-star.

I would too so long as it works. If he does have trouble with taller longer opposition around the rim (like it appears sometimes) then maybe passing in those situations would be best. What I really want is for him to be able to draw fouls and get his shot off like Karl did, and that is a possibility if he continues to learn how to use that body.

I agree with Cyrone Torbin. Ounce Kanter finds him self and learns how to finish on the offensive glass we will see a double-double player.

What? He has better rebounding fundamentals, but that is about it. Where are his passing fundamentals when he has the ball frozen at the top of the FT line? Where has his fundamentals when he lowers the ball to his knees on putbacks? Why doesn't he use the backboard on putbacks?

He is a pretty good rookie, but to say he is our most fundamentally sound big man is laughable.

I loved that first highlight with 2 bigs out on the fast break , favors and kanter. When did we last see that? They seem to get out even more and better than Millsap. And compared to Big Slow, feggedaboudit. Does he finish on one fast break per year?

Kanter is incredibly smooth for being so young and inexperienced. He and favors are gonna be fun to watch develop. And they ought to be getting over 20 mpg right now just based on production.

Yeah he will learn. In the NBA the refs are rarely going to give you a foul when 3 players are draped over you pecking at the ball like vultures.

You should accept that Kanter is a pretty smart player and has very good fundamentals overall. I know he has many problems still and cant finish in some easy situations but that has nothing to do with fundamentals.

Everyone here should accept that Big Al and Favors has a lot of decision making problems. They dont make the right decision or choose the best option available in most of the possessions. Only Millsap has very good fundamentals that you can say better than Kanter and thats why he is Millsap, not because he is very good athlete or very strong or has a very good size whatever, just because he has very good fundamentals and he improved himself pretty well over the years he is in this position right now, so that means Fundamentals is a pretty important part of the game.
