Tough call. Ultimately I'd lean towards Kanter since if both reach their potential a great big is just a better asset, but there's so much I like about Knight as well. I imagine the next month will clear a lot of things up.
^^ I agree, but using that logic wouldn't you err to the side of taking Kanter? Meaning, there's obvious debate as to who the bpa is .. if you're unsure, go big, right?
(that's what I'd do, but I'd also be happy with any of Knight, Williams, or Kanter)

If you believe Kanter is a lock for a 20/10 guy, how do you pass?
he looks just like Kosta Koufos in the clips i've seen. how am i wrong?
Again, you do not even consider positional needs at #3. These players are so young that by the time they hit their prime Jefferson and Millsap will be long gone. And even Favors may not turn out to be the superstar we expect. If you believe Kanter is a lock for a 20/10 guy, how do you pass?
Yeah, Zerol's saying draft by need rather than BPA.
Even later in the season IF Knight is just an average player and Kanter is tearing it up for the Cavs, you can't just say we should have drafted Kanter because Cleveland has no one playing in front of him and they have a team much worse than us while we have 4 legit players in the big man rotation under contract.
