Enes Kanter still unsigned

Al-Farouq Aminu might have a chance to clean up some of the defensive gaffes of Kanter after-all!

A move I was suggesting at league minimum salary last offseason and near league minimum in the summer of 2013.

LMAO Kanter absolutely does not make teams better.

OKC had a better record with Kanter than without Kanter this season. True so did Utah Jazz but before the trade the Jazz had the hardest strength of schedule and the easiest after. However still hard to argue that Kanter leaving didn't make the Jazz better.

Argh. Just when I forgot you existed.

Well for $17.5m per year, that better be the case.

Good timing for Kanter. He is the best big man left out there and there were still teams left with money to spend. I think we forget how young Kanter still is, but true for him to live up to the contract he needs to at least get up to an average defensive player. Dont forget Portland is now basically in rebuilding mode.

Actually, if my calculations are correct, if you discount the long period where they were missing both durant and westbrook, they were better before the trade.

25-15 vs 16-12

Franklin's history of starting threads:

- "This season will Vindicate Ty" - uh... no it didn't.

- "Kanter still Unsigned" - uh... yes he is.

May be you should start a new thread "The Jazz will NEVER win a Championship".

How's Julius Randle working out at the small forward position?

@WojYahooNBA

Enes Kanter has locked himself in his Chicago apartment and is waiting for Westbrook and Presti.

@Chris_Broussard

Kanter's agent has informed media that Kanter has had second thoughts and is waiting for Westbrook and Presti to convince him he should sign with OKC.

@Zach_Lowe

Has anyone informed Kanter's agent that restricted free agency doesn't work the way he thinks it does?

@ESPNSteinLine

Sources say Kanter is visibly upset that Westbrook and Durant are not tweeting emojiis.

I'm going to laugh hard when the Jazz get a late 2018 pick from the Thunder and DL turns it into the next Rodney Hood/Rudy Gobert.

The Jazz won that trade by a mother******* mile.

So glad Utah isn't the one trying to decide if they match or let him walk for nothing. Ouch!

It will be a lottery pick after Durant leaves.

If the Thunder let Kanter walk (which they should) they will keep Durant and Wetbrook together. They're not tanking. They're going to fully max out both guys and try to buy pieces to put around them and keep them competitive.

I'm pretty sure that they make the playoffs the next two years, but don't go anywhere.
