ESPN NBA MOCK DRAFT 9.0 (includes Second Round)

Actually as a laye second Hummel might not be awful. He might be had as an undrafted fa too. I am concerned by how heavy he comes down from his shot. That puts a lot of stress on his knees. He leans forward on his shot and lands at a v with his knees locked. Like I said late second he might be worth a look.

A steal if he's at least 90% healthy (I doubt it) or a waste of a pick if not.

I agree. Plus I think there's a good chance the severity of his injuries causes him to go undrafted.

Besides, why does Utah want a shooter? Jazz are intent on pounding the ball inside. Team philosophy under Corbin seems no different than what Sloan taught...shoot from the outside only if the clock is at 23.9 and you have no other option.

I just watched the videos of the late PG's since we're not moving up for Lillard. Personally, I like the Wroten kid even though he's a little left handed. Teague looked OK, but it's hard to judge a guy when all he has to do is make entry passes and alley-oops. I wouldn't mind a little deal to grab either of them with Wroten as my preference. That said, I don't expect KOC to do anything.

Hopeful for change. Not of the political variety .. change for the good.

sorry ........

Marshall seems to be slipping big time. He can pass, showed glimpses of what he could do when asked to score. Let Horny spend 3 months with him and I think he can be a decent 3pt shooter.

If any GM can make a "Jefferson for #16 pick" trade happen it'll be KOC.

So I still have hope.. and faith...

Classic JazzFanz line. Complete homerism. If Horny can turn Marshall into a decent 3pt shooter, then Hayward should be deadly from behind the arch.

All I'm saying is if he's indeed an elite passer, then I'm willing to live with his short comings and gamble on his shooting... Plus we have a 3 point shooting specialist who can help bringing him into a 'serviceable' level.

Purdue was a top ten team when he was playing. Yes other teams besides UK play good basketball.

Whateva. You said he was the best player for Purdue (and there were NO other NBA players on their roster) 'before' he blew out his knees.

My comment stands .. not a glowing endorsement.

Agreed, Horny has done nothing for this teams shooting individually or as a team. He is a great shooter he is not a decent shooting coach.
