What's new

Eurobasket 2025

Thats it.
Im taking the over on wins for the jazz this season.
Don't sell your house yet. This is team Finland in Lauri's hometown (usually they play these in Tampere or around Helsinki).

Jazz again... Will be a tanking Jazz with full of rookies and young guys that want to prove themselves, and the league is full of good defenders that are advised to lock on Lauri, who isn't #1 kinda guy in NBA.

All that said, it's really fun to see Lauri at his best mood again, happy and loose. I hope he either can find it in a tanking Jazz or will be traded for his own sake. I guess he needs to pull off a string of great games to make it happen faster

I was making a joke, just i case it wasn't clear.

However, I would still take the over anyway. Jazz have lowest season win total (18.5) since the 2013-14 season iirc. For that reason alone I would bet on them winning 19 games.

Nevermind this post.
The jazz only won 17 games last season and the roster was way better. The jazz had the 50th worst record in nba history last season. So I guess it wouldn't be too shocking to have an even worse record this season.

These poor teams are way too bad for Lauri, lol. Don't get me wrong, Lauri's shot looked fresh right from the start, which is always nice. He's gonna be an issue again in the Eurobasket, but I only hope our backcourt would be better. When there's gonna be tough teams, they're in trouble.

Btw, they played in his home town Jyväskylä. Which is also why they did let him play in the 4th quarter as well, unlike normally not, when leading by like thirty points.
Yeah it was pretty obvious Lauri was straight up a giant in this one. Looked like a scrimmage honestly.

Better player: peak Hayward or peak Lauri?

To date, peak Hayward was better. His ability to create for himself and others as well as play defense made him more valuable.

But Lauri hopefully has a lot of time with us and will overtake him.

Who is beating this team?

PG: John Stockton
SG: Gordon Hayward
SF: Andrei Kirilenko
PF: Lauri Markkanen
C: Mehmet Okur

Bench: Pete Maravich, Jeff Hornacek, Joe Ingles, Matt Harpring, Mark Eaton, Kyle Korver
