Since we are healthy , hayward is down to 4 mins a game , evans usually is in a suit

Do we rotate making them inactive or send one to the dleague ?

Who would you carry on the official 12 man playoff roster ?

Tis a shame. I actually like watching both of them play. Seems like the progress Hayward made regressed a little bit due to lack of minutes and evans not even getting a chance

funny thing is hayward got 4th qtr minutes a few games ago. not because as sloan said hayward(seriously his "political correct: name sucks why cant i call him like that rudy gay from memphis) deserves it. biut because he was sending a message to ak.
well it worked. ak isnt flailing his arms as of late he took notes from "rudy hayward". and now finishes strong

Evans needs to expand his game and there's no way he's going to do that in a suit every night. If someone goes down it should be him.

evans to D-League. With Okur there is really no place for him on the team. AK is playing well but I am sure we will see more minor injuries/bad nights from him. We will need Hayward.

Ok, Dutch, I'll give you benefit of the doubt.

Sloan definitely sat AK in some game situations when we needed him. 4th quarters specifically.

Questionable? Yes.

Too bad the rookie made Sloan look like a genius. That's right, Hayward played like a man on fire, almost like Harpring.

Ok, when I say that, maybe I just wish Harpring was on fire.

Anyway, sitting AK in the 4th quarter of ANY close game is just plain stupid.

Thank Jesus Sloan seems to have figured that out.

Same thing happened to Koufos. Had a string of a few games where he played with energy and did some good things. We were hoping to see him build on it then there was a string of DNP CD and he just fell off the map. Hope Sloan realizes he has someone in Hayward that can contribute and gives him a shot. Not sure why they keep trying to bring CJ along when he was no better his rookie year really, but a Koufos or Hayward gets nothing. Watch to see Hayward dumped after this season. What a waste of a relatively high draft pick. We might as well trade off all our first round picks since we seem to do well with 2nd rounders and that is all Sloan will play anyway.

Yes I pointed out that in CJ's rookie year he was really no better than Hayward in his rookie year. CJ got some more burn, and developed enough to keep him around. Koufos for one did not. I am afraid Hayward is heading down the Koufos path not the CJ path. I hope Hayward gets the same chance CJ did. I also complimented CJ by pointing out how well we do with our second round players. Why is that so tough for you to swallow?

Oh I get it, you are such a troll that you MIS-READ what I wrote and assumed I was saying CJ is no better NOW than he was in his rookie year. That is not what I said at all. It was a comparison of CJ in his rookie year to Hayward and Koufos in their rookie years. Feel free to take off your troll glasses and read it like a regular thinking person.

So yes the trolling continues.

I agree with everything except the whole Koufus thing. That dude sucks more turds than those chicks in 2G1C.

Tru dat. Hindsight is 20/20. I do remember us getting pretty high on him during his little 4 or 5 game run in his rookie year though. I remember thinking we need to get him some more time, then after his extended DNP streak did he ever start sucking it up. I kinda feel bad for him because he did try hard.

CJ tried hard too for the most part and earned extra chances. Hayward does too. I think Hayward has a better shot to be a solid player than Koufos did though. Just hope we don't waste it.

[notice how i just skated around the 2g1c reference, although it was pretty apt. :D]

I'd like to see Hayward get a little more burn. For a while I thought Sloan was nuts to put Price out on the 2 guard spot, and while his shot still sucks he does bring a lot of defense and a spark to the table. Still, I think unless Ronnie is playing great than Hayward should be eating up some of his minutes.

It's too bad there are no minutes for Evans. He always seemed to produce a bit when he was out there with a block or dunk or whatever. I'd rather see him active than Elson, although lately Elson isn't getting much burn either.

Evans might be better served by being inactivated but staying with the team's trainers and practicing with the team. I'd rather he be dedicated to the weigh room and working with Hornecek than playing DLeague games... at least right now.

CJ did not play hardly at all his rookie year, ya fact-lacking hater. He was fresh out of high school too, 18 years old, and an obvious "project". What did he do to make you rag on him so much, spit in your beer or something?

Ok I am getting very tired of people putting words in my mouth. I said that CJ in his rookie year wasn't any better than Hayward, but he got a little PT and showed he would work hard so he got a chance. HOW IS THAT BEING A HATER?

I guess once you get a label you are lumped in with all the others with the same label and are not worthy of being considered individually.

Wow just try, for once, reading and actually cogitating on what was said before responding.

On a different note, I think that every player is a project at the beginning in that we do not really know what they will do. You think because he played in college a little that Hayward is not a project? Look at how the Olowokandi project turned out.

I assume they'll send Evans down once the road trip is over and if Memo stays healthy during the trip, or if every stays healthy for that matter. They'll want that insurance,
