Evans ... worth it?

Is Jeremey Evans worth keeping? Or should they try and add him in some sort of package deal for a PG? I'm a big fan of Burke, but with his poor performance in summer league and preseason, missing the expected 2-3 months is half the season nearly.
 
Burke's not going to miss half the season -- 6 weeks tops.

Jeremy is a good guy but I think they should focus on developing Gobert, so if they can get something worthwhile for Jeremy then I say do it.
 
At the bare minimum Evans is worth keeping. He does play with energy, but that is about it for him. He has reached his ceiling, and it isn't terrible. If they are thinking about chewing up cap space it better be for someone way way better than Evans, which wouldn't be too hard with mid-level money.
 
Evans will likely always command somewhere short north of the league minimum. Unless we've got a 12th man with some good upside (usually 12th men with upside aren't 12th men) then I don't see a reason not to bring back a good character guy who seems to get along with everyone. Jarron Collins, baby!

Whether you add Jeremy Evans or not, he's not going to get you anything more.
 
What the hell are the Jazz going to get back for Evans?

On a .500 team he's a 10-12 guy. A decent guy to have for the end of your bench - but anything more would be pushing it.

If Evans averages 10 and 12 I'll be pretty excited tbh.
