What's new

Every. Damn. Time.

Didn't say that. Do you realize how many people will jump on as Browns fans because they drafted him?

I know what you said. Whatever it means, the bottom line is that a real fan would wait it out. Sucks to be you though.

I've been a Patriots fan since before Belichick and Brady.... so I know what it's like to be mistaken for a bandwagoner ... and I know what it's like to see an idiotic flock of bandwagoners rushing on ... and I know what it's like to deal with a generally obnoxious fan base. Still a fan.

I am a fan of the perfect team for exactly this conundrum: the Bears. They are good enough to give you some hope, but in the end choke it out and don't really get anywhere, they keep teasing they will get better and then they don't, and they have a storied history so you can have some discussions with lots of other fans. Perfect team for a non-serious fan.

Join me in cheering for the Jets. They've sucked since Moby Dick was a minnow. Definitely no bandwagoners on this train.

I'm not big on football and I can never really get into it because I don't have a team to cheer for. Every year I try and like a team. A ****ty team so that no one can accuse me of being a band wagon fan. But every year I choose a team and every year that team suddenly starts doing good or there's some reason to be accused of being a bandwagoneer. One year it was the Seahawks, then the Chiefs. Now, the Browns. The Browns drafted Johnny whats-his-face and now people have a reason. God damnit. Who should I try and root for now? :/

Why don't you tell your snobby *** Burger King and Maverik clerks that you don't give a damn about football and are rooting for the logo on your cap as an underdog loving bandwagon prick?

Sports purists equal the douchbaggery of Cyclists, environmentalists, Pearl Wartson, the Amish, and the children of middle class assholes pretending to be upper middle class by wearing their school issued uniform sweater around their shoulders at the county carnival.
