Could one person please tweet out that Ty Corbin was correct to go back to Jefferson and Millsap with Jazz trailing 77-71 - closed 27-14

Tweet locke back that Al was 1-5 from the field the rest of the way after he came in as well. The reason we came back and played well was Foye, Burks, and Sap. We won the game despite Al tonight.
who cares about trade value.
what could we get 3 4 draft picks who wont play?
I'd be happy if we traded Jefferson for a piece of stale cake.

I replied to this and got a nice little DM from Mr. Locke. I told him that it was ridiculous to speculate that the bench wouldn't have pulled out the game considering they had outplayed the starters for the previous 40+ minutes of the game. He said he agreed, but that the end of a NBA basketball game is different from the rest of the game. Okay, David...okay.
Foye passed it to him with 1 second left......
Just sayin.
A very valid point. Corbin called a high screen-roll (which was a smart move imo) between Foye and Jefferson (but why Al and not Millsap?). Sacramento switched it and Foye saw he could take Hayes off-the-dribble and he got a step on him. The problem is Al decided to space out behind the 3pt-line (again if it's Millsap shooting an open three you feel alot better) so the Kings cut-off Foye's penetration and Al was there for the "Memo shot."Foye passed it to him with 1 second left......

Run high-screen roll with someone who can pop (Millsap) or roll hard (i.e. Favors dunking over Biedrins last year) is a smart decision - but by involving Al in the play it was destined to fail because that's not his strength. I blame Ty - not Al for that shot (although you could argue big-picture it represents many of Al's limitations if he's not scoring the ball efficiently in the post).
