It seems to me that the jazz offense is always the same no matter what the matchups are on the court.
Pass the ball to favors 20 feet from the basket, he waits for bell/miles/hayward to come off a screen and passes them the ball, then bell/miles/hayward either shoot or dump the ball into jefferson.
We never think hmmm hayward has big, slow gallinari on him so lets see if hayward can beat him off the dribble. We never seem to post up a guy (kirilenko) when he is being guarded by a much smaller player. Since we dont exploit matchups on offense then we should at least try to match up defensively.
If we are playing a denver team with a big guard like afflalo, and a big small forward like gallinari, then maybe we dont start raja and hayward.
maybe start hayward at the two so he can gaurd afflalo and start millsap at the 3 to guard gallinari.
Then tomorrow when we play 76ers since igudala (sorry for spelling) is too physical for hayward and too quick for millsap then maybe start howard at the 3.
The jazz never seems to make adjustments to anything they do. That was always my problem with sloan and it hasn't changed with Ty.
And what ever happened to the millsap at the 3 expiriment. Maybe we should try to start our best five players, and millsap is probably our best player so why not try him at the 3 with favors hayward and jefferson. seems that millsap is possibly our best 3 point shooter so he could spread the floor for favors and jefferson and help with rebounding.
Ok I am done now, sorry so long.
