What's new

Exum is back on court!!!

All the hype jazz players get from around here then why do they stay lottery bound? Have they even made the playoffs since Williams left? Bunch of crickets I hear because I nailed down the coffin of truth on yall

Who has more playoff victories since Dwill left. Dwill or Utah? Game ,Set, Match.. Enjoy another year of drafting in the lottery
Yep and steve kerr is better than steph curry cause playoff wins duh.

Basketball is a team sport. I'm not surprised that you don't know that

Yep and I admit I was wrong.. He is a good starter. Still not a number 1 option. Enjoy your lottery picks the next couple years

They are in the playoffs correctly turd burglar.

You should see how many years the jazz have made the playoffs and how many years they missed the playoffs since they have been in utah.

Always stay lottery bound? Lololol. You don't know very much about basketball apparently

I agree with you that Gordon isn't a number 1 option, but wouldn't you agree that he is a great value at the ninth pick?

I am not as excited by the prospect of Gordon being a super duper star as much as I am excited about his specific traits. He seems to be a great ball distributor and ball handler for his size. He runs the pick and roll well, but not in the way that Rodney Hood does it well. I think Hayward is a reasonably good shooter, but his vision off the pick is underrated. He makes the right play most of the time. He is an efficient player that gives you more options than most other teams have on the wing.

I become even more excited about Rodney Hood on the other side of him. Like I said earlier, I think Hood is a cold blooded killer on the pnr. Teams can't go under the pick on him and if they go over, he has that weird ability to shield the defender with his body while keeping his head up and either making a tear drop in the lane or he will survey the middle area and make the right pass. The Jazz last night were basically picking their poison based on who was being defended by who.

I think we are starting to see the identity of this team. We are becoming versatile. I am excited about Lyles' development, I think we are going to give teams a lot of different looks which will help our offensive efficiency - which is what it's all about.

I am excited for the return of Exum. I feel like the emergence of Hood and Hayward's ability to take another half-step forward in his development this year were great because it will take a lot of pressure off Dante. Next year, I think this team takes a big leap forward with Dante doing the same things as Neto, but at a higher level, because so many of the other nuances of playing point guard are already taken care of by the uniqueness of Gordon and Rodney. Hopefully either Alec learns to play within the system well, which he has shown in spurts, or we find another wing that offers some blue collar traits like the usual 3 and D stuff. I would love to pick up PJ Tucker. I would also like another big shooter.

Btw the answer to your question about whether they have made the playoffs since d-will left is yes.

ButBUTBUT I hear how great all these Jazz players are and still no playoffs, all while Dwill stays in playoffs.lol
They were rebuilding you **** head. Deron went to a team who spent a fortune to try and win a title and they didn't even come close. They built that team around him and he failed big time. I'd take Gordon over Deron every time.

Ill say this about the Jazz, You have a nice young core. Problem is it is a core of role and supporting players. YOu need that superstar that can push you over.... With all the young talent the Jazz have and draft picks id look into upgrading the team andget some star power. You cant keep on rebuilding.. Gordon isn't close to Dwil llevel. Wake me when he has a couple gold medals and all star games under his belt... Hayward pick is what drove Dwill away from Utah. He never liked the pick. Could of picked better.Imagain a backcourt of Dwill and Paul George
