I assume you're right, but I don't think the rules for that game are hard and fast. It wouldn't surprise me if they made some sort of exception if he had a breakout season. Of course, if he has a huge breakout he'd end up in the actual All-Star game (which would be epic).
 
I'd have liked him to play but this certainly isn't bad news. Glad he's focused.

US Olympic team taking shape. Still need a PF though. Perhaps Favors? Also whether or not Hayward makes it might depend on whether or not K Thompson plays. Lebron sounds like he is out. However, Melo just got in so perhaps that will motivate him to play.

I'd really like to see Hayward make it. With his skill set, I could see him doing very well and raising his profile exponentially. Maybe enough to stop all the bitching around here at Jazzfanz. . . but that's probably just a pipe dream.

Looks like Kahwi is out so Hayward's chances improving.
