I just took a quick peek at "theHighRoad.org" website. While it is still a firearm enthusiast website, I do not believe it is the same website I used to participate in. I read some time ago that there was basically a takeover of the website and it was a mess and a sister site was created for a while and the membership was completely confused and lost. I basically walked away at that time. I had been an active poster.
To go a little deeper, "The HIgh Road" was created after the owner of "The Firing Line" was killed. That person was a firearm enthusiast who lived in a state that did not allow concealed carry, so he carried what was allowed, which was basically a pocket knife. After he died the most prominent members of that site created a new site, called "The High Road" which was also a firearm enthusiast site, but was better than anything I've seen in regard to advocating for responsible firearm ownership, handling and usage. I think in the mid 2000s it was the largest and most active firearm website around. Then the new IT guy basically got ahold of all the passwords and had all the servers in his physical possession and claimed ownership of the site. **** show happened and now what was "thehighroad.com" is "highroad.org" and it's not the same.
Anyway, if you purchased premium membership from "thehighroad, com" you got a "Molon Labe" sticker.
That's why I ask.
