I was just looking at various players and wondered where Favors might fit in. Predict his stats in two or three years (22-23 years old). Which player is he most likely to resemble in stats (assume he gets 36 plus minutes)? Assume that the player plays good to great D and shoots around 50%. I'll reveal the players later, but you can see the first letter of their name.

Here are his current /36 minutes stats (Points, Rebounds, Assists, Steals, Blocks).
15, 11, 1, 1, 1.7

RESULTS
Garnett, Kevin
O'Neal, Jermaine
Duncan, Tim
Gasol, Pau
Howard, Dwight
Malone, Karl

So it seems that most people think he will be like a 23-year old Jermaine O'Neal. It's funny because Kevin Pelton thought that this was a good comparison for his projections.

According to the voters, his stats will be something like this at the age of 22/23: 19.5, 11, 2, 1, 2

Not sure how you have Favors only averaging 1 assist. I thought he showed some nice passing skills as the season ended.

I think he will resemble a more powerful, less explosive Josh Smith who doesn't *****-foot on the perimeter.

I believe you're just too diligent with your response, Cy. The poll wasn't up yet. It also appears that you didn't read what I wrote since you thought I was predicting what he would have. Fair enough.

Per 36 min stats just show the efficiency but does not give you the sharp meaning. It is all about the players' role at the team. Even kanter's 36 min in his rookie year is like 12 points, 11 reb, 1 blk etc. So foul problems, conditioning, field goal attemps, the responsibility on offense and defense, role in the team all can change these stats. Right now, Favors is pick and roll offense specialist, good rebounder, perfect blocker. I do not think his 36 min stats (17, 11) are easy to be realized if he plays that much.

I went with option O. I think once Kanter gets his feel for the game down that it will be much more difficult to get a high amount of rebounds. One thing that I would change is that I think that he will be much better at moving the ball around. I think that he will be cloer to 2.5 assists a game. He also has decent hands so I can see him getting more steals than .6 per game.

I went with player "D"...

Was tempted to go with "H" (no prize for guessing who that is!?!?!), but I thought "D" was something he could actually achieve.

Safe bet.

Don't get cocky, or you'll receive a D! You know what happened to the curious cat, right? He got his ding-dong cut off in the weed-whacker because he was curious to know where the sound was coming from.

That just sound wayyyyy scarier looking at your avatar as I read it.... ~__~

Didn't know a poll was going up. I was kind of confused as to what you were talking about, but from your avatar I just assumed you were masturbating in a library and you didn't know exactly what you typed.

I went Option O just because I'm not positively sure Favors is going to be a good enough offensive player to eclipse the 20 pt mark, especially if Kanter actually develops into a good offensive player and splits touches with him.

You definitely have some tricks of the trade. So, a person's avatar accords with their mental capacity. I'll make sure to get an intellectual-looking avater, so that I can be taken seriously. Oh, and I was masturbating in a library! I'm very good at typing with one hand.

Went with D...pretty sure it's Duncan, btw.

Though, I agree it would be hard for him to average over 20 points and 11 rebounds with Kanter on the court, too. We'll see.

My ****! that's terrible bois! Poor *******. Probably still more humane than how J-Roc neuters stray Toms around my shed anyway. I don't even want to ask but he keeps saying he does it for those greasy movies I used to be in. One time he brought this kittie back wearing a ten gallon hat and all ****ed up underneath. It walked sideways for a month and whistled when it farted. I'd like to see him try that with Steve French I tell you. Steve French would **** his face up.

Favors
I did not say he is the greatest blocker just said great but the most obvious thing for his stat that will increase is his blocking. Kanter can steal the numbers of rebounds and points from him but not blocks. More min means more blocks for him. Also, not a bad thing to be worse blocker than the names you mentioned.
