What's new

Favors/rubio/gobert/Joe line up is taking away Mitchell's strenghts. My Analysis (probably correct)

If you havent noticed, the Jazz are currently more worried about keeping the trade value of players up that winning bud. Don't take things that are happening now too seriously. Also, try not to care as much. I'm not someone who roots for losses, but I'm not mad when they lose either. Ultimately it's most likely for the better.

Jazz traded for Rubio and he has no trade value. Might as well put him through as much experience w/ Gobert as possible.

It's a near guarantee Favors gets traded, so it wont last much longer.
Trading Favors doesn't solve the Rubio and Gobert complete mess of an offense. Favors' 18' jump shot does more to spread the floor than either of the other 2. 2 absolute non shooters on the floor and you are not winning much. I said all along that Gobert does virtually nothing to fix this teams' problems, he increases them. As long as we have Rubio we are the Timberwolves of the past 6 seasons. Which means were a bad team with no shot at the playoffs till he's gone.

At least the Timberwolves had a C that can shoot beyond 6".

Apparently Quin doesn't see it.
Even with a healthy Hood - and when he still had Thabo - he still trotted out the Favors, Gobert, Rubio lineup. I'm done with this team until some changes are made. Good gawd the Hawks game was embarrassing. Jason Kidd could have done a better job with rotations. Give the team to Kokoskov and send Quin to rehab.

I feel ya dog.

No way. Utah has been a top 3 defensive team with Rudy and dead last without him. The difference in offense is nowhere close to the improvement in defense. Utah had a streak of 4 games where they shot really well without Rudy, and some people convinced themselves he was the problem. Since then our offense has been pretty much trash without Rudy, and certainly nowhere close to offset the incredible improvement in defense.

I meant on offense. The problem is not Gobert, it's definitely Rubio. But The offense with Rubio and Gobert is plodding, Boring, predictable, and easily defended. Only teams with no interest in defense (The Clippers without Jordan) have any trouble stopping the Jazz with those 2 on the court. The team is just as bad if not worse overall than they were with Gobert Injured.
