You can ignore everything that happened in the Indiana game. They didnt put a NBA team on the court
 
I'm sorry to all Collier fans out there but there is no role in a contanding team for a guard who cannot score or defend at an adequate level, and Collier absolutely cannot do either of those things at an adequate level.

2nd year player that has all the necessary attributes to be a good defender and is showing signs of offensive improvement as should be expected for a 2nd year PG. back to the main point again, can’t write him off this soon

Collier doesn't have the attributes to be a good defender. I guess he has enough to be average, but certainly not good. He's slow laterally and has short arms.

I wont write him off, but next season he wont see the court unless he first improves. We are gonna be low on development minutes, and Ace + 2026 draftee will be the top priorities. Everyone else needs to be able to provide some actual positive value.

He had a lane agility drill of 10.77 which can be compared to Russell Westbrook of 10.84. I’m not saying he is the most amazing defender ever with this stat but I disagree completely that he doesn’t have the attributes to become a plus defender

There is nothing I have said above that suggests I think he is a good defensive player now. Does he have the physical attributes and athleticism to improve? Yes. 100%. This is an optimal situation for us, late 1st round pick showing signs of life with a ton of athleticism and play making ability. Dude is a second year player. Comical people are half glass empty right now
