Oh I love him. Not top 8, but if we somehow drafted in the teens with some draft day trade shenanigans, think he's great value there. Projects as a nightmare defensively.

Cameron Carr's a better defender imo.

I'd also take Coen Carr over him if you want to draft a defensive specialist.

Eason has been my wet dream for a while. He is tge perfect fit.

What is am curious is who is going to round out the roster.

I think Collier and Sensabaugh are NBA talents.
Nurkic has good back up center potential but is already 31.
Filipowski has bench potential.
I want to believe in WCJ but I don't think he wants to be here.
I want to believe in Hendricks.

I guess a Nate Ament would fit in that group. Can't seem to believe the Jazz will get a top 3 pick so.

I like Quintance or Cenac off the bench next to Kyle.

What archetype do we think we need? I think that's the better question. Then refine the list from there. I personally think if we are to have a championship team then we need another wing. One that brings a lot of gravity with him and that plays defense too. I think he needs to be a star imho because Lauri as the third scoring option is legit (AJ Dyabantsa if we tank more?, a younger jimmy butler?) Obviously this is a much harder player archetype to get being an all star go to wing. But that's what championship teams have.

If Ace becomes that guy (which he might) then a defensive juggernaut, switchable defending 3 and d guy might be the fit due to Lauri and Key's defensive deficiencies. (Dort?)
