What's new

Finally - a Game (Spurs @ Jazz, 2/21/20 at 7:00pm MST)

Welp, we got hit in the mouth. Now we have to make up for it by winning a game in Portland or Denver. Hopefully we come out focused tomorrow against Houston.
I wouldn't bet on it.

I wish they would have kept pushing and just smoked our asses. The final score wasn't one sided enough to thoroughly embarrass us. It would have been good to have a gut check.

Jazz always think they can coast until the 4th quarter and just turn it on.

You'd think by now they would've learned their lesson that it doesn't work that way.

I just want to commend everyone in this thread who had the strength to continue watching this disaster and can bear testiment to its awfulness.

It's too bad we'll never know if Conley playing would have made enough of a difference in a game we never threatened to win, but I'd have felt better about our chances to split this back to back if he had sat tomorrow instead.

Agreed. The team was flat all of the first half (I turned it off after that), but that run did us in . You have to call a time-out to interrupt that.
For some reason this has always eluded Snyder. It's like he just doesn't understand runs. Or the hot hand for that matter. Analytics must not relate when it comes to those two items.

Would have been nice to see Donovan get out of this horrid slump of poor shooting, terrible decision making, ball stopping, not getting to the line, king of the turnover thats been going on. But alas it continues.

Edit: Forgot to add unbelievably bad defense to the list.

Just enough time to make a run and come up short... play our guys full minutes and be extra gassed tomorrow.

remember when I told y’all what would happen... so predictable. Run Rudy out there in a game you have almost no chance of winning and have a critical game the next night.
