I was downtown walking around City Creek mall this afternoon, and I saw your idol walking around in some fancy gym clothes. Dude is really tall. My son was like "Hey Dad, that's Alex Borks!" And I was like, "Yes, son it is..."

Then we also saw Trey Lyles trying to catch up with him. He looked lost.

Rookies often say the biggest adjustment is the speed at which NBA players move. Just doesn't compare to the college players.

Seriously, though, it's nice to see the rookie integrating with a teammate. Or maybe it's just part of the rookie hazing. Lyles gets to go along to carry Burks' shopping bags. You know, that's kind of how marriage is: husbands get dragged along while the wives shop and end up carrying the bags. The only difference is our hazing NEVER ends.

Alex borks lol. Cute stuff. Your kid is pretty little iirc.

That's pretty cool that you saw him. Should have had him sign one of your moobs

Yeah, I was lying about my kid saying that. He is only 2, so he would have just said something like "go jazz!" or whatever. Alec was on the phone though, so I didn't say anything. He looked super happy though! Didn't have a bad shoulder bugging him.

Trey Lyles looked lost.

The OP's story is why you should ALWAYS be wearing that fancy new Jazzfanz t-shirt when you go out in public in the SLC.

So the real story is that you were walking in the mall and you saw Alec talking on his phone and then you saw Trey Lyles?

Yeah, I'm glad you jazzed it up a bit before sharing.

Did you hear the one he tells about the fish that got away? It was a trout the size of an Orca.

So they know you are a grown man who is overly obsessed with the Jazz so they can avoid you?

Exactly. Should I take off my Jazz shirt now? Not wearing the Jazzfanz one, just a blue shirt with the logo on it. I am planning to go out in public, but in CA, not Utah. Please advise.
