I agree things will never be completely equal. You agree that smart investing in poor children will reap benefits for our country. So, our disagreements seem to be narrow.

Yes. I want to invest in better education, better opportunities for children to be the best they can be...
..and.. I would like to end the spending foolishness (as outlined in prior posts).

I'll be clear, I am not interested in lowering my taxes, I am all for having those dollars redirected into more education and areas that make the PEOPLE of this nation stronger.

Thanks for the discussion.

For all you numb nuts that didn't get my light-hearted jab...

I wasn't saying that people are literally championing an equal end result for all...... I was responding to one brow and other's responses about inequality.. and One Brow saying one kid gets protein and yogurt while another gets bread.. I asked where does that end? If you recall, I asked about interviewing.. who has the better suit, been better groomed, drives a nicer car, attended a 'better' college... it was a jab that if everything is truly equal, it necessitates an equal end... was a joke. Sort of.

Even though I quoted you, I was speaking to what I hear on a daily basis around the office, whenever I make the mistake of flipping to an a.m. radio channel on the drive home, captive audience in the restaurant, bank, gas station, out in the field, EVERYWHERE.

I got your point on where to end though. Thought everyone else did.

Seriously. We have a pro-business, pro-Wall Street, pro-security-state, anti-civil-rights party funded primarily by corporate interests, and the other party are the Republicans.

Actually, I've read some pretty healthy discussion about re-regulating Wall Street and what to do with the money market funds, but you'd never guess as much hearing the politicians talking on cnbc or whatever. They play pretty decent characters inside the chambers, and mutate into the ******** their constituents want them to be when standing in front of the camera. Our own senator Orrin Hatch waltzed right out after the banking collapse declaring we need to deregulate the banks to get the econ going again. No way he's really that stupid, but Utahans were at the time.

Well, sometimes it's just not enough to bomb the heck out of Europeans; you gotta find some brown people to beat up as well.

Are you stereotyping all white people as southern rednecks who want to blow up brown people?

Orrin Hatch saw what happened to his bud in the caucuses and went all out on damage control. With Romney's organization and the old guard Republican (RINO) establishment all on board for claiming all the tea party language locally, they have just gone on in truth being the fat RINOs they ever were. The UEA is the real owner of both parties in Utah.
