Following 2016 potential draftees

He didn't show it at UK.
If he had he would be projected top 3 if not 1.

A guy who is too raw for the college game. How soon can we expect anything of note from Labissiere in the NBA?

And do the jazz have patience for it when we it feels like next year is playoffs or bust

He's not raw, he's weak (physically and to a lesser degree mentally).
He may never reach even 70% of his potential.

I do think he has the most upside but I also have been on record that he doesn't reach anything close to it.

I don't think he'll be big and strong enough to play the 5 defensively for a while, unless it's one of these run-n-gun line-ups. He looks like he'll be one of these Dwight Powell/Patrick O'Bryant PFs who plays pick and roll/pop on offense and guards 4s on defense.

I don't think that Marquese Chriss is necessarily a safer pick than Skal. They're both still figuring out how they'll play at the next level. The difference is that Skal had high expectations he didn't live up to and Chriss had almost no expectations. Now people are looking at Chriss and seeing the potential. But they're both pretty raw prospects who need to show more toughness, rebounding and motor overall. Either one could end up being the better player.

The difference is Chriss didn't suck *** in college.

I like Chriss, but he didn't always defend or rebound the ball. He wasn't highly featured in the offense. Skal was more disappointing, but he had a few nice games toward the end of the season.

Skal Labissière (@OneBigHaitian) was extremely impressive today and he has workouts/meetings scheduled with nearly every team in the top 10.
