Following 2016 potential draftees

I'm not particularly crazy about this recent Denzel Valentine hype either, he's mistake prone, he's a considerably worse athlete than Xavier Henry, he's gonna be damn near 23 at the draft. I don't see the need to put him in the bottom of the first.. Patrick McCaw has way more potential IMO. I'm actually certain if you watched McCaw closely, you'd see it too. He's kinda Khris Middleton-ish. I'll take McCaw over UNC's Justin Jackson too.

He's streaky and I've just seen him make plenty of dumb mistakes over the years, calling him the next draymond green is just obscene at this point, its not even fair to Valentine.

I'm convinced Deyonta Davis is the best prospect at MSU.

I wonder about how Valentines 3pt shooting will translate at NBA distance.. I'd also call him a SF not a SG. He will look like an oaf guarding Burks or quicker SG's.


I actually bet my account on another site vs a MSU fan. Luwawu vs Valentine, whoever gets drafted higher doesn't get perma-banned.

I'm pretty sure Valentine is going to have a rough adjustment to the speed of the NBA game..
 
Going to Duke is going to cost Brandon Ingram $$ for the next few years, their too guard dominant for him to show his full repertoire all the time.. He'd have showed so much better at UK next to the bigs and guards they have..

More like I'm moving Ingram down, I can't hate on LSU if their playing like this. I really do like their surrounding pieces, their much better than that 24th ranking or whatever it is, If Sampson and Blakeney continue to shoot the lights out their very dangerous. I really do believe in Ingram's talent, he will not have a Kelly Oubre type fall.

Skal looks more talented than Chris Bosh to me, Bosh had much better intangibles. So It's kind of a wait and see with a few things.

I have the least problems with Jamal Murray as the #1 pick right now. I'm still waiting to see if Simmons is going to be shooting college 3's..
 
Wade Baldwin IV is on the precipice of the 1st round and worthy of mention. He was the only player on Vandy that had a clue vs Stony Brook during crunchtime, the rest of the team looked ready to take the loss. Baldwin totally bailed them out in the 2nd half, i'd almost say he did it single-handed.

Skal isn't going to do much if he insists playing defense "tall."
He needs to get low and use his center of gravity.
I would stick him against the wall, knees bent at a 90 degree angle, and when he can hold that with a 50lb bag of sand, he'll be ready. He's just playing too big and getting pushed around.
Offensively he's got unlimited potential.

One of my constituents has a 185 IQ.. I'm not always the smartest guy in the room, never claimed to be. I don't glorify that ****, it's certainly not the reason for my successes. It's just a funny hot-button topic, that dummies usually shrivel up when speaking on.






Y'all arent the first group, that was hoping I'd be wrong about a ton of stuff, then decided to attack me personally instead of my views when It didn't work out how you'd hoped... I'd say that's happened on a large scale, at least 5x in my life, yet my resolution remains, because I've been right in every one of those occurrences.

Wasn't there a general consensus that the 2014 Draft was going to be great (not that it hasnt be good) and 2015 was going to pale in comparison? Or am I remembering wrong? It seems like 2015 might be better so far.
