Good list and all, but I think you are heavily underrating Poetl.

Did you see what he did tonight? My god.

Wasn't there a general consensus that the 2014 Draft was going to be great (not that it hasnt be good) and 2015 was going to pale in comparison? Or am I remembering wrong? It seems like 2015 might be better so far.
You're remembering correctly.

I've come to find, pundits jump to those type of conclusions mostly based on what they think of just a handful of top-shelf talents... While writing off 5-star talents like D'Angelo Russell, that they think don't have 1-and-done talent.. There always seems to be more elite talent than they've accounted for.. no?

Been saying the players are getting bigger, faster, stronger at a younger age, which is a theory many like to reject... There's plenty of recent examples the past few years, Rudy's one of the best.

I'm pretty sure these drafts will all be loaded, thru 2020.. In that time the theory about these 'next generation' players will be proven emphatically correct.. ( check out the video in my latest post in the 2020 thread)

They sleep on the foreign players.. The crop of international talent born in the years '94 all the way to '00 looks chock loaded with talent. So I'd say it's tough to call, I'd er on the side of giving the classes the benefit of the doubt, rather than thinking a perceived weak or mediocre will be that way.

Plus there's been a player from Weber State, Lehigh, Louisiana-Lafayette, and Murray St. in the lottery the last 4 years, those players obviously weren't taken into account when those determinations were made...

The HS class of 2016 is unique though, there's an obvious overload of depth in the class, there's seriously like 125+ players, that are of top-75 quality, that's no overstatement..

2017 is gonna be loaded. 2018 is gonna be loaded, 2019 is gonna be loaded and 2020 is going to be loaded.

Calling 2020 5 years ahead of time -- BEAT THAT PKM!

Charles 'The Big Ticket' Bassey as the #1 pick. Lemme also predict he gets a UK Scholarship offer several years in advance of it happening.

This Big on Miami who outplayed Poeltl, Tonye Jekiri, ranked as the 74th best Sr by DX. Looks like he might be able to sneak into the 2nd round. He's kinda Festus Ezeli-ish.

Poeltl with a monster bounceback game though today. Looking much more like a lottery pick. Someone should post those highlights when their made.

Miami looks to be in mid-season form already. Their obviously going to crash the top-25 in a major way.

Few good games on the schedule tomorrow. Gotta love these early season tournaments.

St. Johns @ Vanderbilt
Wake Forest @ Indiana
LSU @ Marquette
UNLV @ UCLA

Does everyone here still think that Ulis is too small to go in the first round?

Just saw today he's got a little brother Ahron, who can handle the rock similarly.. He's in the HS class of like 2020, and he's sure to be a big-time recruit(Not saying he's the next Cole Anthony..) He doesn't look much shorter than Tyler already.

There isn't much precedent for a player of his size going in the 1st round, so I still lean towards no. The facts are he is going to have to have an insane season paired with an insane year from UK to even have a chance to go in the 1st. Not saying it's impossible, but I think the odds are he doesn't.

The one thing that might help him is the success of Isiah Thomas is having. He was the last pick in the second round.
