there's nothing wrong with burks 3pt attempts, you're a jaded individual for harping about it for so long. I don't see the connection either. Y'all are the ones talking in absolutes about Ben, making excuses. So your defensive - I'm awaiting further information, just thought tonight was noteworthy -- You think thats faultful of me to mention?? What a suprise. I don't care.

No, I agree. I just didn't expect him to be a shooter from the start. If anything I'm optimistic about his future shooting ability given his FT work thus far.

There is nothing wrong with Simmons lack of attempts. You are being kind of weird for being so obsessed.

MKG not only had a broken shot but was completely inept on offense and still went #2 behind only the best draft pick in about the last ten years.

Simmons is so obviously #1 it's ridiculous.

Yeah, I don't like how their using those pieces in these 2 losses. Brandon Sampson should've been featured more down the stretch instead they kept going to Blakeney. Quarterman was far from efficient shooting the ball, Ben didnt take a FGA for the first ~17 minutes of the game, so I guess that's bound to happen.

Josh Gray made 2 critical mistakes in OT that really put them in a bad spot. SO thats partially on the coach for having him in there.

That play they ran with the game on the line vs MU was ghastly.

If Ben is as ambidextrous as they say, you'd figure he could use a screen uptop and draw a bunch of fouls if need be..

Kentucky is sitting pretty right now. Love it.
 
LSU is still missing their best shooter, they are a much better team with Hornsby. He was easily their best perimter offensive player last year. Once Simmons gets him as a kick out option, LSU's offense will be much better. These Freshman guards are too inconsistent.

MKG is the perfect example of why I'm a little apprehensive about picking someone that high who isn't comfortable shooting the basketball.

Dude, you are the guy who wanted to draft Julius Randle to be a SF.

Simmons doesn't have a broken shot like MKG.

Guess what? Draymond Green never shot a 3 pointer his entire Freshman year and only shot like 14-18 3's his Sophomore season.
