To assume guys like Burke, if they stayed until senior year, would duplicate what Hield has done, is to ignore history.

He is having a historic season as a shooter/scorer and doing it in one of best conferences in college basketball.

He's doing very impressive things. I don't think anyone is hating on the guy. Having concerns about taking him in the top 3, as some have suggested, is totally reasonable.

People are indeed trying to diminish what he's done this year due to his age, etc.

If one is concerned about his NBA prospects, that's one thing, but I see folks doing more than that in this thread.

Uhh no, you have to take age into account. No one is diminishing it, we are just not ignorant to the fact that age matters.

A lot seniors have played college bball. I listed several great upperclassmen just in my post off the top of my head. None have done what Hield has done.

1 or 2 a year? Lol. Find me two in the last 20 years.

Like I said, to assume a guy like Dunn or Burke could do it if they stay til senior is to ignore reality.

Jimmer and Adam Morrison, just two recent bust for you who put up just as good numbers. They didnt have as good of %'s but they also shouldered more of scoring load for their respective teams and had to take a higher degree of difficulty.

Degree of difficulty? Now you're grasping at straws and making things up. You can't measure degree of difficulty. Lol. Jimmer 59% and Morrison 60% in the MWC and WCC respectively. Not close to Hield 67% in the big 12.

But nice effort.

Ok. If you aren't going to accept clear facts this discussion is pointless.

Also you understand by playing in a better conference he has better players on his team setting him up?

To assume guys won't improve in two years is also ignoring reality.

Hield is having a great year, but I'm not arguing his greatness in college. I quite frankly, don't care. This is about how he projects as an NBA player. Anyways, the conference argument is funny to me. The Big 12 is pretty decent, but the talent that Hield has played against at his position is pretty weak. That matters.
