Following 2016 potential draftees

As long as we draft a solid rotation player who can contribute, play defense and not have any major limitations I'm happy.

When it's all said and done we'll probably be the 6th seed and choosing in the late-teens.

Question for an older Jazz fan; Who would you say the teams most explosive 1st round pick was?

Probably desaun stevenson

I think Snyder pretty much got drafted based on his athleticism.
I agree.
But the question was who is the most explosive player. Add that to the context of the rest of pgab post and I think he was asking who has the highest vertical leap.

I think deshawn had a higher vertical than snyder

I think I just figured this one out, I bet i'm at least partly right about this. They don't want to sign up or even offer on some players, before players in the previous class commit, so they can say your our A priority.

So they're waiting for the Trae Young domino to fall before really doling out 2018 offers because he'd fit right in next to Bagley, Ledee and the rest of the roster..

LeDee (and obviously Bagley)is unaffected by that because of extreme positional flexibility at the college level. John Petty, the first offer in 2017 fits that, get in where you fit in, not going to step on anyones toes mold too.
Well done.

There's also some amount of putting pkgs together behind the scenes before offers come. But you pretty much nailed it with Trae.

Brewer was more explosive then either of these guys, right? I vaguely remember Stevenson or Snyder.

I'd say fish is right about Stevenson. He's the only Jazz player I can think of who competed in the dunk contest other than Evans.

I would say brewer and deshawn would be about the same vertical.

Is there a way to look up what their vert was at the combine?

I found something that said brewer had a 41-inch vertical.
Both very good anyway
