Says that Stevenson had a 44 inch vertical.

He finished second in the dunk contest

Seems like Stevenson is the answer then. Brewer just dunked so much. I remember one year Brewer was 2nd in total dunks for the season (maybe not for the entire year, but I remember looking the stat up during a point of his best season) only behind Dwight Howard, which was insane for a perimeter player.

When someone earlier was talking about Hield's season historically. This is just a list of guards with a similar TS%, doesn't include players like McDermott (considered a forward) who had a TS of 65% recently.

so your argument is that hield sucks when in fact he has the highest ts% of any guard in their database history, including many, many good to great guys in the top 10?

genius.

let's see the forward list too.

theres some dirty laundry floating aroound the internet today about diamond stone and a shamless young woman who calls herself "the queen of the nudes". typa stuff i'd get a fract for posting..

certainly not a good look..

Looks like only one player on that list was higher than him. Kyrie irving. #1 pick.

Pretty damn historic numbers by hield.

Kyrie only played a handful of games before getting hurt too. Small sample size. Buddy for President!

Ford has a new mock out. Has us taking Valentine. Skal goes right before us.

I like Valentine... I think he'd do well and is a bit undervalued. I like Luwawu better but I'd prefer Valentine to Furkan.

I will go with Furkan who Ford has going 3 picks ahead of us. As long as we plan to keep Hayward. Furkan is a lights out shooter and is almost 4 years younger than Valentine. Already playing for one of the top teams in Europe.

I just don't see the ability to create off the dribble that a top draft pick from the 2-guard spot needs to have from Hield.

Agreed. For him to be a "star" he is going to have to consistently hit McCollum/Jamal Crawford/Steph Curry level of difficulty shots. For him to be a solid starter or 6th man he is going to have to be able to navigate his way around screens and hit catch and shoot 3s at a high enough rate to give him room to drive. If his shot is off, what does he bring to a team? He isn't a lockdown defender and not a good passer or playmaker. The only thing that gives me hope is how much he improved from his freshman year and his insane work ethic. I know this might make me look silly eventually if he does become great, since I'm sure people said the same things about Curry/Lillard/McCollum, but I guess I just don't see it with Buddy. Guarantee that if Jamal Murray isn't available the Kings draft him and it ends badly.

I think he can hit hard shots, but those 3 guys can all create for others, which I dont see Hield doing yet.

Find joy in playing the lottery and watching the Lackers and Nets lose their picks.

Why would you find joy in the Nets losing their pick? You know who gets it? Boston gets it. Do you really find joy in Boston, the NBA team with the most Championships, getting a top draft pick while also having a top team in the Eastern Conference. And oh yeah, they also have a ton of cap-space to sign a super-star.
