Following 2016 potential draftees

All fair points (especially the shooting). I just don't like the idea of someone who's "game is built heavily around taking and making contested shots" and "can be quite a ball-stopper at times" not to mention "overdribbling and freezing out his teammates frequently" and the worst yet "not really reacting to the defense, and deciding what shot he wants to take before he starts his move". Does that sound like someone you'd want to add to a team that talks a lot about chemistry?

His shooting is streaky but better than DDR. I just hope he is not nicknamed "Black Hole" Richardson.

I think since he's only a freshman his game is far from a finished product. The only question is whether he's coachable.

And Prince is tied for the longest SF in the draft with Brown.

I'm sure Ingram is longer but he has never measured.

Ingram measured 7'3" at the Hoop Summit. And Nigel Hayes has a 7'3" wingspan too. Wanna try again?

I'd def go after Hayes in the 2nd round. Dude may enter the league with a HUGE chip on his shoulder. When Quin (or Dennis, or whoever) makes the call to tell him that we may draft him, I would hope Quin would ask, "Will you shoot 5,000 threes a day for us too? Because if so, you could be a special guy in this league and you're our pick."

Yea he is.....

You are talking to the former #1 Hayes believer. Nothing he did this year proved he could be a wing player. His future in the NBA if he has one, is as a small ball 4.

His team was garbage this year. Utter garbage.

I like Prince as a need-based pick. Love his motor, his attitude, his fearlessness and his ability spot up or finish on the break. I think he could replace a lot of what Booker gave us with better shooting and finishing around the rim. I'm not sure Prince is BPA at 12, but I might put him on par with Baldwin and Luwawu in the teens. (Note: I'm not super high on Luwawu in the lottery just yet.)

Not really. I mean, they weren't good, but a lot of it was him trying to be Sam Dekker.

Actually I take that back. His team played pretty great late in the year and carried him to the Torney. They somehow won 2 games in which Hayes shot a combined 5 of 27. He failed as a SF. He has to be a PF in the NBA ( or go back to school and improve a lot)

Unless someone drops I don't think there is any clear BPA at 12.

Im still in the process of deciding who I really want at 12. Trying to warm up to every potential prospect. If it's anything like last year, I will like everyone but one guy, then we will draft that one guy.

By that logic, it's a near guarantee we draft Valentine.
