He made a huge improvement on his ft **** this year. His recent workout videos show him shooting 3s. His form is kind of weird for a big man, a little low and out in front, but his one motion release will lend itself to extending his range.

I could see it happening. A lot of the teams in the lottery already have a starting center.,so he might just get passes up if teams go position need instead of BPA. Once all the top wings and guards are off the board I don't see people passing on him for the likes of 3rd tier wings (Korknaz, Baldwin, Luwawu, etc) or potential driven bigs (Skal, Davis,Jones). Only way he drops to us is if he gets to 10 and Milwaukee decides to go local and take Ellenson.Thanks. Watching that vid makes me want him more. It would be interesting to see him compete with Gobert over the next few years, see if he can pass the stifle tower. He's not a great rim protector, but he's not awful. He'd still be a tough post defender and help defender with plenty of offense. Not ready to say he will be good outside till I see it translate in actual NBA games.
If he falls to the Jazz, u thank god, draft him, then laugh at all the teams, and clown them for passing on him. Just a few days ago, I thought he was for sure a top 7 pick, but everything I here on jazzfanz has me excited he could actually be available for the Jazz.

I don't know if the Jazz would take Poeltl. He didn't interview with them and I suspect they won't be able to get him in for a workout given his higher draft projection. The center need is last on our list as well. I think Milwaukee goes with Poeltl or Baldwin at 10.
Yep. They have their board and they will take the top remaining player on the board. It's really that simple. The Jazz have a long history of taking guys they didn't interview.
BYU fan alertWas watching, I believe it was a Kris Dunn workout video and there was a big white guy working out at the same time. He looked familiar, but I couldn't quite figure out who it was. He just looked awkward out there - yep, turned out it was Poeltl.
Sorry, that's all I got. Anyway, far too much Jakob discussion going on. Zzzzzzzzz.
