Following potential 2012 draftees

Dude's got a reason he gets those putbacks, oops, and 6 blocks per game.

I honestly think he can play center one day in the NBA. He has a frame that could probably get him to 260 and if my eyes don't deceive me a wingspan around 7'5". A Favors/Davis front court would be straight up nasty. When the NBA reconvenes Okur's contract will have expired and Al will have just one year left. KOC was in attendance....

Mississippi State is set to dominate Texas A&M tomorrow on ESPN 2 in the Garden, 6pm central time.

The defensive ability of a Davis/Favors front-court paring is downright tantalizing defensively.

Also, has anyone seen Patrick Young this year? He is the closest thing to Dwight Howard I have seen as far as physique. Dude is ripped beyond belief.

I've watced Patric for a couple years. Great physique but he's having a hard time putting it to good use against mid-level competition. Most mocks have him late lottery, but I think he'll need two years of college in order to get there .. not expecting too much from him this year.

Not been to impressed either with Rivers. Thrown up a lot of bad shots. Not a good outside shot so far either, but lets remember it took Barnes about half a season to get going

Yep .. big difference between the two players though .. Rivers has shown (in the past) that he's willing to take loads of bad shots, his killer instinct is fine, but he has to learn to channel it into seeing the floor and becoming team first. Barnes, on the other hand, has shown just the opposite, tending to be more passive, lacking the killer instinct .. and at times, deferring too much. Interesting how elite players can be so different.

The Jazz need a steady, mature pass-first PG. They have plenty of athleticism and scoring. They're going to need game management. Kendall Marshall does look like the priority PG prospect to me. Picture him on the floor feeding Favors, Kanter, Evans, Burks, Hayward, Millsap, and getting them out in the open court. He can make his own scoring an afterthought. If we can get Miller, Davis or Drummond, of course we'd have to do it, but as Cyrone pointed out, Marshall might be just made for the Jazz. I'm going to be watching him closely. Hopefully he can hit an open shot and get by people when he needs to.

His shot is my biggest concern. I have not watched him enough to know how consistent or not he is.
