Following potential 2012 draftees

The only way the Jazz get a shot at Davis is they tank the season and get lucky in the lottery. I am not that sold on Harrison Barnes. I think he is going to struggle creating his shot if he can't learn to dribble better. Beside the fact that he doesn't pass the ball.

I don't have a clear guy yet. Guys who are rising on my board are Marshall and Lillard. Neither of these guys were that high on my board to start the season but they not peak my interest. I have always been a big fan of MKG and now I am not as high because of his bad jump shot. However, I like him more than Barnes. PerryJonesIII dropped down a lot on my list but his recent play has peaked my interest. I don't think he is a top 3 but I would consider him with the 8th pick. He is a no-brainer with our second pick. The only questions I have about Perry is can he play SF and does he have the "go to guy" mentality.

I would be happy with SF (lotto) -MKG, Miller, Barnes and Perry(?)
PG - Marshall (late lotto), or Lilliard (late lotto).
PF/C - Davis or Drummond (not that high on him) - only chance if the Jazz get really lucky in the lottery.

UK took UF's best shot (they played out of their minds). One of the best back and forth games I've seen this year.

UF
Beal played the game I've seen of him in his collegiate career, much more aggressive and hit his shots. 20pts, 8rbs, 5asts (8/15 and 4/7 from three)
Patric Young held his ground well against UK's bigs (he doesn't get much help). 10pts, 5rbs (5/9)

UK
Teague is playing at an incredibly better level (other than game before this one). 15pts, 3rbs, 5asts (6/9)
Lamb - 16pts, 2rbs
MKG - 10pts, 8rbs (3/5)
Jones had a very nice day and played with authority on both sides of the court. 15pts, 9rbs
Davis is Davis (has hit a 3 in 3 of the past 4 games and has a sweet stroke) - 15pts, 12rbs, 3asts, 1stl, 3blks

Also, what about Tony Mitchell from North Texas? Why is he not considered a top 5 pick or lottery pick? I think he could be our future SF easily. Loads of potential, 44% from 3, 3 blocks, 10 rebounds, 15 points, great size for SF 6-8 235, crazy athletic

I might be wrong with this but doesn't he have maturity issues?

In your opinion, what would Teague have to do in the tournament to enter the PG discussion again?

He's already improved enough to convince he can play PG in the NBA (he's fairly similar to Eric Bledsoe, but more pure PG). I don't know that he could do enough to enter into lottery consideration. I think it would be too late.

Wow, Hantlers wasn't kidding about Duke's offense not being conducive to getting assists. Today, Curry was their leading assist guy ... with 2. No other player had more than 1.

Marshall's stats from the past 3 games are very impressive:

15 ppg, 10.7 apg, 3.7 rpg, 1 spg

53% FG, 55% from 3 (6/11), 83% FT

Does this convince some that Marshall will improve the Jump shot at the next level? I don't expect him to ever be a sharp shooter, but good enough to be respected, and not completely sag off him on defense.
