Following potential 2012 draftees

PKM, say if we got the 9th overall pick from Golden State in this upcoming draft; who would you pick with it right now? You can use DX as some sort of reference for assumed draft order.

Wow. Obviously tough question based on who's available.

I want a SF. MKG, QMiller, Barnes .. none others in the lottery, imo
After that, I want a PG (based on this draft class). Marshall, Lillard

One/two of those should be available.
 
Based on that list, it would probably come down to Quincy, Marshall, or Lillard then. I personally don't know who to choose from that list.
 
PKM, didn't you say that Coach Cal didn't want Q.Miller on the wildcats because he was a "selfish" player? I dunno, I watch Q.Miller and sometimes I think I'm seeing a taller CJ Miles.

That happened, yes. I don't see selfishness when I watch him play now .. but Cal did not like what he saw when Q was in HS.

So you'll admit you were wrong on Marshall (as was I, I'll note) but not on Q? You love potential, eh? Kid won't do **** in the league, bra. I think in you heart of hearts you know that though.... :)

I thought the effect his absence had on his teammates probably improved his draft stock more than if he'd played.
 
I tend to not get caught up in what pick we've got, as it's been in such flux. As for Marshall, my concerns have only slightly been squelched, but his upside of passing/team mgmt has increased. Having said that, I still have him around 12 - 15. QMiller = I've had him as high as #3, I think, but most commonly around 6 - 9. My concern has ALWAYS been desire. I still have him around 8 - 10. If anyone has seen QM when he's 'on' you would have a hard time passing on him .. he's a truly special (near Durant-type) talent .. he just doesn't care to fulfill it, damnit. If he had MKG's heart, he'd be the 'next.'
