Yeah, but if we don't get our own pick ,we can trade for a pick, even in the 20's. Burke is short, but I think he could be a pretty good PG.
I'm not promoting the idea and I'm not saying whoever gets the #1 pick is likely to do it. I just simply want to ask the question. Do you think whoever gets the #1 pick would ever consider the #9, #13, Jefferson and Kanter for it? I personally think they'd consider it for a few minutes and ultimately decline. Would you do it if you were KOC? I would. Yes, we'd still be weak at the 1 and 3 but a Davis/Favors 4/5 with Millsap off the bench moving forward would be silly and any of Hayward's shortcomings (length) at the 3 would be masked with that defensive frontcourt. I also think attracting free agents would become easier.

Yup. Seems pretty obvious. Davis is actually a better comparison than Drummond, imo.
I don't think anyone gives up Davis unless an established star is involved. Having said that, I think we'd be more than happy with #9 and #13 to complete our young core.
If we can 'buy' a late first or early second to get Burke or Wroten, I'm on board!
I would take a serious look at Burke in the 2nd round if DMiller is off the board.

I'm almost positive Burke will be a 1st rounder. He will go before Teague if Teague enters.
Also imagine the hilarity that would ensue when announcers get Burks and Burke confused.
