Following potential 2012 draftees

I don't think the players are trying to lose nor being told to do so. If anything, they know the mgmt is making decisions slanted toward getting the pick, but I find the whole 'losing culture' argument flawed. Who really doesn't want to win. They could have a very good team next year, very good. I'm not quite sure it proves much if they start winning a ton of games with a healthy Curry and Bogut .. those two, when healthy, are far more valuable than a 7/8 pick.

That's true, the main peices on the Warriors arent' a part of the losing...

So ... let's say we miss GSW's pick this year. I'd guess there's a 100% chance we get the pick next year. With their roster next year, and understanding we have no idea how healthy Curry, Bogut, and the others, will be .. what would you guess their record, our pick?

Just a total and complete WAG for me would be around 16/17. Ballpark, ya think?

If they can stay healthy, then I can see them making a playoff push, yes. That's a big if, though.

Looking ahead to the 2013 draft, I still like the idea of drafting a SF. What does everyone think of Kyle Anderson?

He can't be traded until after December 20th. I don't know how Brown's contract expiring makes anything different. I was simply saying they don't have very many players to match Jefferson's contract. Unless you are suggesting they sign a player for us, for the sole purpose of trading him to us. Either way, I still see them wanting us to take Drew Gooden's awful contract.

Maybe he wasn't clear, but the Bucks will be <$10 million under the cap. Salary matching only applies to teams over the cap. Jefferson for Milwaukee's pick and Mbah a Moute or Dunleavy works.

Would the Bucks want him though? They already have 2 chuckers. Al would be lost in the mix IMO.

I don't disagree. All I know is they traded one of the most impacting defensive players in the league for one of the most high-volume ch... scorers in the league and as a team they have absolutely no scoring balance. Al plugs some things for them, but I don't know that it's a great fit, myself.

But they're the Bucks and they could use a lot of help inside.

A little slow and not terribly athletic, but incredibly high BB IQ and an elite passer. A decent comparison is a 5" taller Marshall .. so, yeah.

That's actually what I was thinking.

Quincy Miller, Kyle Anderson, LeBryan Nash, Adonis Thomas....is Poythress more of a SF or PF? Cause if he can play SF, then there's actually some pretty decent options we could look at.

Poythress would be a SF. Also CJ Leslie.
