Following potential 2012 draftees

Sullinger will be fine in the NBA...idk if he will be prolific, but I'd say Glen Davis is worst case scenario.

Then why is he considered a potential top 5 pick in a "loaded" draft by most reputable sites? The guy is skilled, is strong, rebounds, and is developing perimeter skills.

He probably won't go top-5 by the time of the actual draft. He's a good college player and a decent prospect. A big question is whether he's gotten bigger than 6'8". He doesn't have a lot of lift and needs as much height as he can get if he's going to score and rebound well at the next level. Otherwise, he's not likely to be a go-to player in the pros.

In this draft, IF he decides to declare, he is not a top 7 pick. He should be a mid-teens selection, and will get a team 10-12ppg and 8-9rpg. "He doesn't play as big as he should" - How big should he play when he is 6'8" maybe 6'9"? He isn’t the ‘above the rim’ player with explosive athleticism, but he does a lot of things well like uses his body and weight for position and rebounds , passes out double teams, has great hands and a soft touch around the basket.

Very fair, nutz. I like Sully, but I've always called him overhyped and believe he'll go 8-11 .. rather than the 4 - 6 the mocks have him at ..

Sullinger > Thomas Robinson or Terrance Jones imo.

Sullinger is MUCH more limited than TJones. Jones can do much more on the court and is nearly the same size. I like Sully's intanglibles better than Jones, but his ceiling is low.

Robinson is very similar to Jones, bit with, again, less versatility.

Jones has the most upside of these three, but I just doubt he'll reach his potential .. maybe 3rd of the three in the intangibles ..
