Following potential 2012 draftees

Sullinger does not seem like much of an upgrade over Millsap to me. In fact, I think that Sullie is Millsap with a serious concern about weight his entire career.

Harsh I know.

Would be a concern his freshman year, but he made significant physical improvement, at least from an eye test, his sophomore year.

Like I said, I wouldn't draft him because he is redundant to Kanter, but I think he will be a steal if he drops past 8.

Sap is way more mobile. Sullie is a C trapped in an unathletic PF's body. Still, he's polished, smart, and worthy of a lottery pick for the right team.

Just like Love's ceiling is limited? Not saying he will be as prolific as Love, but I think he can be a pretty good 2nd option. I think he is getting underrated by people.

This is why hate comparisons. How many Kevin Loves are there compared to busts???

What bust are out there that were lottery talent picks with the play styles of Love/Sullinger (srsly, I can't think of any in recent memory).

Sullinger doesn't really have Love range or rebounding instincts to my eye, but what I love about him is his high floor. I can't see him being any worse than a mid-level starter and he could be a pretty nice player for the right team. The Jazz wouldn't really be a good fit, but I could see him doing very well on a team like Toronto who needs a compliment to a perimeter center.

Yep .. agreed.

I honestly don't know off the top of my head .. I just don't like immediately going to the absolute best case scenario.

Yeah, Toronto would be a good fit with Jonas.

Well Love is really the only comparable player to Sullinger that I can think of. Like I said, I don't expect him to be as good, but he is the really the only clear comparison playing right now.

I also wonder if Cleveland would draft him because of the Hometown Hero angle. Plus he is way better than Tristan Thompson (who I still can't believe was drafted 4th overall).
