I know it's only 9 players, but I didn't want to add anyone that wasn't sure was going to be on the team. Jones on the team allows the Jazz to cut Millsaps minutes, so he doesn't wear down, it's also an explosive and versatile lineup.

What I would like is to get the 30th pick from gsw to secure their lotto pick. Trade big al to houston for Lowry and the 14th. (other factors pending) draft Darius miller at 30 and t jones at 14. Then draft Kyle o'quinn at 47.

Then the line up would look like this

Lowry, Watson, tinsley
Hayward, burks
Miller, Carroll
Millsap, jones, Evans
Favors, kanter, o'quinn

Jones would be primary back up to miller and sap. I know 3 rookies but o'quinn would be the 12-13 man on the roster. Harris would be moved probably with Jefferson to Houston. Bell I don't care what happens to. Carroll and Evans are the 10 - 11 guys on the roster.

I would love to see Brandon rush on that roster too but he would just take minutes from burks, jones and miller.

Tell me if I'm missing something, but the big flaw I see in this lineup is lack of outside shooting, unless Hayward becomes more consistent, and Burks improves, and T Jones surprises us with his shooting. This is an athletic, quick team, and I think better then average on defense. The only thing other then shooting that's missing is a pass first pg.

That's not a good trade for Huston. I can't see them saying yes to this trade.

You are probably right but Houston is going to get hosed by Lowry going public about either the coach or me. That is also why I said future considerations. If gsw lessened the restrictions on their pick they owe us then that could be used in addition to Jefferson to get the pick and Lowry. Again was of the top of my head

The dude I've been discussing the HOU stuff with just told me he doesn't have any info on the GSW talks. He did say that some Jazz talks are still going on between both HOU and POR. No new news, though. I'm here until Tuesday and will update if I get anything. Time to go yell FORE!!! multiple times ..
