I'll go on record and say that Quincy Miller is going to be a good pro, in the same conversation as Harrison Barnes and MKG. He's too skilled and versatile not to impact the game in a number of ways.

This a a depressing draft for me because I have spent more time then I normally do researching and watching specific college players. Now we have no first round picks. I know that we can still trade into the first round but it is not exactly the same.
I like Miller's ability. Give him a couple of years and I feel like he will be an effective NBA player. Superstar? Probably not. Skilled? Yes, I think that he will be.
The three players that I would like on the Jazz that are semi-reasonable (in order): Rivers, QMiller and Royce White.

I still like Lillard and Marshall, both of whom could develop into great players. I'm not that impressed by the mid-late lotto, which has a bunch of meh big men.
Davis is a lock to be very, very good, and I think Beal will be a solid and safe pick for anyone, but there is a lot of bust potential with some of the more highly touted players.
I really don't know jack about Royce White and 2nd round players.
Darius Miller does look like a real sleeper, and to be honest, I'd even take him over Barnes, who is just too one-dimensional to me.
Quincy Miller needs to get stronger and get healthy, but his instincts, mobility, handling and touch for a 6'9" player are quite good. I think he could become a stand-out, versatile player like a (younger) Josh Howard.
I'd love to see Rivers develop himself into a 6'4" PG in the mold of D.Will. I'm not sure he's going to be the impact scorer at the SG that people want him to be.
I think Terrence Jones could replace Millsap as a combo-forward on our team and provide slightly better defense due to his height, but I'm not sure he'll be a go-to scorer.
I think there are only really a few players in this draft that would make a difference for the Jazz during this rebuilding process. Lillard and Marshall should be high on that list.
I would even take a flier on Tony Wroten if I thought he could grow up and he had a good head on his shoulders. People have to remember that college Freshmen are still pretty young kids.

Good list overall. Only a couple of things that I had a hard time wrapping my head around.
I'm not a fan of Barnes. Don't think he's a high-value pick. People compare him to Luol Deng, and I'm not sure he's even that good. I'm saying Steve Smith right now.

I am not very high on Barnes either. I think that he turns into a shooter in the league. His ceiling is much higher but that is where I see him end up. A Kover/Mike Miller type player that teams will desire for their shooting ability.
I know that Howard was a fringe all-star a few times. He was good that is true. I just think that Miller will have a better shot his entire career but I don't see him have the ability to get to the rim on a drive. Time will tell.
Marshall would likely make the biggest impact for the Jazz (yes, I know it doesn't fix shooting).
I'll be truly shocked if Wroten does much. He is not a PG, not even close. He's a SG that can't shoot a lick. He's flashy and fun, but that's about it. I'd call him a POOR man's Josh Selby.
Not a good comparison to Quincy, imo.
This board undervalues Barnes. That's okay though, because too many others overvalue.
I think the jury is still out on Wroten. I think he's something like this year's Iman Shumpert. His game needs to develop in a number of ways, but he's got the physical talent to do it. The question is whether he's got the mind to do it.

PKM, I really respect your opinion. I have heard what you have said about Barnes. I have taken as much time as I can to watch him and get a better understanding of what his game is all about. After doing that I have come to the conclusion that he will have a long NBA career. There will always be a situation that he is wanted on some team. Heck, that could be the Jazz at some point in the future. My concern is with his overall game. He rebounding is suspect. He defense is questionable. He ability to create is severely lacking for a player as highly touted as he is. He ability to create for others seems to be non existent.
Those are just my own impressions of Barnes. He could very well prove me wrong.
