What's new

Following potential 2012 draftees

I will be keeping my eye on: (in order of importance for me)
Kidd-Gilchrist
Davis
Teague
Rivers

The matchups to keep an eye on ..

Teague vs. Taylor (youngster vs. vet .. both potential lottery guys)
Jones vs. Robinson (near clones of one another .. both potential lottery guys)

I predict Kidd-Gilchrist in his first big-time collegiate game will be the MVP .. although he'll likely be guarded by Releford, who's a great defender.

Thanks for giving me more specifics to watch for.

nbadraft.net (I know) just updated, now have 5 UK players in 2012 lottery;

#2 Davis
#7 Teague
#11 Kidd-Gilchrist
#12 Terrence Jones
#14 Doron Lamb

... wow. Reminder of the game tonight against #11 Kansas.

Just as an aside, in this NBADraft.net mock, the Jazz would actually get GSW's pick, meaning Gilchrist or a similar player would also be there for us as well as the #12 pick....

I'm looking at Gilchrist too. He looks like he has Andre Iguodala potential, with slightly more consistent offense.

I'm also keenly interested in Beal and Quincy Miller.

Obviously need to see more of all of these guys, but Gilchrist, Miller, and Beal are certainly three studs that should be fun to watch.

My Spartans looking good early here against Duke. Nix, Green and Payne are some ****ing guys that could pose major problems for teams. Unfortunately, none are great offensively (even as skilled as Green is) and they'll often struggle, like they did against NC, for 60-65 points.

Payne's body, for a sophomore is very nice and reminds me of Theo Ratliff's. Dude looks very tall (6'10's his list height I think) and even moreso, long. If he can develop a decent offensive game, he could have a decent NBA career. Well, if there ever is another NBA game.

Gooooooooooooooooooooooo Sparty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to see ESPN have a meltdown, hahahahahaha! Duck Fook!

Buford and Sullinger looking good tonight. I think William Buford is one of the most underrated players and will be a great pick. Beal looks decent but has been slowed down since they put Buford on him.
