Following potential 2012 draftees

Shabazz Napier. Discuss. Sophomore at UConn putting up solid numbers across the board (15.5 pts, 4.5 rebs, 6.7 ast, with 2+ steals). He's a bit small, but he looks better than Kabongo has IMO. How cool would it be to be called the Utah Shabazz ??? (pretty cool, I think) ....Actually, come to think of it, he doesn't even look 6'0" to me.

Wow. QMiller and PJonesIII play against unranked West Virginia and in a combined 56 minutes they;

Scored - 11
Rebounds - 12
Assists - 1
Steals - 2
Blocks - 1
TO's - 3
Fouls - 5

Interesting that I started the thread stating concerns over both/either of these two guys work ethic and consistentcy .. looks like that's been the case, particularly with Miller .. and I guess Jones as well.

Kevin Jones destroyed Perry Jones. Moultrie is going to make P.Jones wish he was never born.

MSU handled WVU by 13 points. That was when they had Kilici (their 2nd best player) healthy.

Miller only played 15 minutes too, he really didn't do that poorly considering his total minutes.

I hope he does. I've followed Moultrie a long time now and I've pulled for him to overcome his hardships. JonesIII has always carried himself with more of an attitude of entitlement.

Any of you LDS guys (I kid) have any inside info on Jabari Parker out of Chicago. A once-every-five-years type stud. Must be a 'good kid' because he's LDS.
I've loved his game for a couple years but UK never seemed to be recruiting him. Yesterday, Calipari took Anthony Davis and Derrick Rose with him to watch Jabari.

Anyone have any scoop?

It's early, but he and his parents really, really like Coach K. It'd be kind of cool if Duke could land Parker and Julius Randle.

Ummm .. no it wouldn't. ;)

I do think K leads for Parker at this early stage and I honestly don't see that changing. Funny that the LDS guy wants to play for the devils. I kid, sorta.

Julius Randle is an outright stud as well .. kicked butt at City of Palms.

Napier is obviously playing well and showing good potential. His size scares me, but the rebounding makes me feel a little better. For example, Rondo is 'too small' but he was monster on the boards which shows one or all of elite altheticism, superior length, heart, etc. Not calling Napier to be Rondo, just acknowledging that lack of size can at times be overcome.

Well not Mormon but as a BYU fan I've been following his recruitment for awhile. Kid is insanely mature and his intangables are through the roof. I think he's Dukes to lose. Loves Coach K and his approach to recruiting him and the fact that he thinks Duke preps kids well for the next level. He mentioned UNC/Williams wasn't very hands on with him and that makes him "uneasy".

- That confuses me. ;)

- I'll leave that alone.

Thanks for the insight Bodhi
