I definitely have my concerns, but the guy has a lot of talent, is a great shooter, has an awesome physical profile, and is a good defender. I think he could be worth a look into late in the draft.

He's okay, nothing jumps off the page for me. Also don't like that he has been suspended for attitude issues or breaking of team rules each of his 4 years at Kansas.

I apologize. I wasn't comparing the two players I was just using the draft number of Selby to explain that it makes sense to me that Taylor could be drafted in the same place.
 
I like what I've seen of Ross but can he pass the ball and how is his defense? I understand highlight films are usually offensively- oriented so can some one enlighten me about his passing ability and defense.

Taylor has a lot of quickness but he is definitely a second rounder with his attitude issues. I don't think all blame can be put on Self, the kid was hurt as a freshman and just recently got arrested for marijuana use so maybe those two things had more to do with him underachieving at Kansas.

No sweat, whatsoever, I was simply stating that I believe Selby is much better than most people understand.
 
If you are looking at second rounds PGs there is a list that i would take infront of T taylor

Ross gets burned, badly, on defense. That said, it's simply because he overplays for steals and not because he's physically limited.

That's a good list. DLamb is a SG, though .. and I'd be very cautious about trying to convert him (though I believe it could be done).
 
I was giving a list of players that i would choose over taylor and i would rather see a converted Lamb then taylor. If Rivers can do it Lamb might also good shooter decent defnder and decent passer.
