Following potential 2012 draftees

Weber State making the tournament is all based on whether they win their conference or not, so you just have to hope that some team doesn't go on a random hot streak against them.

I definitely think that Lillard is a legit NBA PG. He's a great shooter however he has a low release point which is scary...but he does have a very quick release which helps him out. Athletic, good handles, seems to be a pretty good defender, much like Rivers, he's asked to be the scorer on that team so it's hard to see how much he could create for others if asked to. As of right now, he's pretty close to Rivers in the PG debate that I'm having in my head...I wouldn't be mad with either of them.

Hate makes you look stupid. So does being stupid.

Ok then smart guy what kind of offense does cal run?

Iso thats what i thought. He is a piss poor coach but a hell of a recruiter. With those team he gets you or i could go coach em to the final 4. His teams are piss poor free throw shooters also. Remember the kansas vs memphis title game? Of course you dont cuz its been taken off the official record book just like cals umass final 4 team

I may not be correct, but I believe Calipari mainly runs the "dribble-drive" with a form of the motion offense in there as well.

Here's a bunch of highlights from Lillard's freshman year. I'm starting to warm up to the idea of drafting him.

Need I truly take the time to answer this? Need I take up pages of NBA personnel that applaud the Calipari system and how it helps prepare players for the NBA? How Cal prepares players better than any other coach for the NBA? Or could you just google it? Let me know ... but try not be a child.

Lillard looks like he can really shoot and he has the kick out pass down but I didn't see too many pick and roll. I admit I only watched about 5 minutes of the mix. Is there any recent footage to compare against the freshmen mix?

Most his players are nba ready the minute they step on campus. Josh harrelson is thwe 1 that pops upo that wasnt but A he wasnt cals recruit adn B cal didnt even wanna play the kid. Rose. nba ready
Wall.Nba ready
Cousins.Nba ready
Knight .Nba ready
Get the drift?

If cals such a great coach why did he FAIL in the nba? If the 1 and done rule wasnt in place none of these guys would of even played college ball. Or you wanna disagree with that?

Hypothetical draft question. Here is the situation I was thinking about - Let's just say that KOC trades either millsap or Jefferson to a team and solves the sf issue on the team. Who doesn't matter just that he gets a good sf that is a decent 3 point shooter. Who do we select?

There are still no great pgs in the draft I like lillard but not sold on him not to mention I wouldnt take him with 9th pick. This draft is loaded with big men do we take a project like Meyers Leonard? I am not sold on him. A flyer on perry jones? One of the zeller kids? Henson might have the most talent of the bigs on the board. What if Sullinger was available?

Or do we nab another 2 guard like rivers, beal or lamb?

Wow I love this years draft. I hope we get 2 picks

In the situation were the team gets a SF that is a good shooter then our biggest hole is clearly the PG position. In this scenario I think drafting Lillard is a very real possibility if he stays about where he is at on the draft board (8-14). Also since this scenario involves trading a big then I think the Jazz would either need to play Evans more (what I would like) or get a 3rd string backup big.

Most of my ESPN draft machine scenarios have the Jazz getting Lillard and Meyers Leonard.
