Following potential 2012 draftees

Stockton had the same issues in Utah. I often felt if he wanted to he could've been a 20 point scorer if he really wanted to.

I wasn't really trying to make that comparison, because Stockton was a very good offensive player who was too passive some times. Marshall is a sub-par offensive player who is too passive, which makes him terrible offensively.

It's hard for someone to improve offensively if they don't work on it in the game, and I feel like Marshall is finally starting to do that.

I had always wondered if Marshall was a better scorer than he was letting on (I even brought this up once), and I'm glad to see he's bringing that other dimension into his game. I still don't think he'll be much of a scorer in the NBA, unless he does some major work on his shot, but it's nice to know he can at least do it in college fairly well.

What does everyone see Marshall averaging in the NBA?

Completely different. Stockton, while being passive about scoring at times still shot above 50%. Marshall dreams of doing that. I do agree with Cy's point though.

To cite DX, he's Ryan Gomes.

Are you drunk? DX's best case scenario for him is Luke Harangody....are we talking about the same guy? Doug McDermott from Creigton? He's an under-sized PF. I don't remember who compared him to Wally Szerbiak...somebody did in here, that was just terrible and I doubt they've ever seen him play. He is nothing more than an under-sized PF who hustles well and can shoot well when open. I'm not a big fan of him.

Sounds like Ryan Gomes to me.

Oh, and:

How about Ryan Gomes? Monster scorer in college. Undersized 4. Super smart. Competitive. RT @visbol: Any NBA comparison for Doug McDermott?

I guess McDermott's white, so my apologies.

Sorry didn't mean to compare there offensive games, yes Stockton is a good shooter, while Marshall isn't just stating that both looked to get others involved first and at times neglected their own offense. Both defer to their elite passing skill.

I think it depends on how his playmaking skills translates to the NBA. If he becomes a great playmaker he will score less if he is just average, he will make up for it with his offense. But I'd say 10 to 14 points is my guess.

Depends on the situation (team offensive philosophy, minutes, etc) but I'd say 5 - 7.

EDIT: with 7 or 8 assists.

I compared him to Wally from the little I'd seen. Just watched some more highlights which really should probably be called lowlights. Not impressed at all.
