I've watched Baylor a handful of times this year. I've been impressed with PJIII's talent, in spite of his docile demeanor. But I've tuned into their games mainly to get a look at Quincy Miller, because of his being a true SF (whereas PJIII may only be a PF). But every time I watch Miller seems invisible. Actually, Acy takes a lot of Miller's minutes (Acy seems to play with more intensity than Miller - but he's not projected in the draft nearly has high as Miller).
But I also notice their backcourt, Jackson and Walton - and I don't like them. They remind of guys I've played with that never pass the ball. And yet I notice PJIII so they must pass the ball at some point. I dunno. Is Miller's problem his teammates, is it his coach, or is it him? Because PJIII and Miller seem similar to me, yet PJIII is the one that appears more impressive.
Anyone care to educate me on this?
I'm still on the PJIII bandwagon, especially if he falls to say 10 or so. I still see him in that Lamar Odom/Rudy Gay mold. At Baylor it seems like they try to use him as a PF or C (and being that he's 6'11" that makes sense), but while he has a lot of things he would have to improve on, I still think he has the potential be an elite SF. Okay, let's hear it PKM.
