Following potential 2012 draftees

Getting MUCH better, but is still not making me feel he'll ever be an elite pg in the NBA .. just a hunch, though.

The question at this point should be if the Jazz need an elite PG for the future. I would like to see one on the Jazz, but I have a feeling that withe the passing ability form Burks and Hayward that it is more important to have someone that can hit the open shot or get some easy baskets in transition.

Thoughts?

Just another opinion on Moultrie .. I wanted him at UK when he was transferring. I think he got poorly coached is a big issue. I'd take him high teens in a very strong draft. He's got enough skills, size, and athleticism .. I think he needs a good big man coach and he can be a very solid NBA player.

It cracks me up when players are 21 years old and people talk like they can't improve. Remember in the good old days most guys were 21 years old coming out of college. If the kid is 6'11" has a motor and work ethic along with great athleticism then sign me up. How is his BB IQ and his personality? Any red flags off the court?

I am not against taking another big man with our pick (if we keep it), that would allow the Jazz to trade AJ (heard he wants to get back to Boston per Tommy H.) to sure up another position like SF or PG. I don't know if I could handle the CT homerism but if he is going to be a beast then I am on board. Only kidding CT.

I don't know .. I like that situation better than having a below-average guy handling the ball every possession. Ideally, I would like an elite PG, obviously .. but if we can't get one, we need perimeter shooting and wings that can handle the ball.

Introducing our 2nd round pick (and he speaks a bit about MKG).

If we got D-Miller in the 2nd, I'd be about as excited as one can get about a 2nd round pick. Really hope he falls to us.

Thanks for sharing. I know you've said a lot about D.Miller, but it's hard to go back and find things in this sprawling thread... so, can you project what kind of NBA player he is going to be? What about his defense? I think the draft express writeups on this kid are pretty poor.

thanks, as always.

His BB IQ is solid, and his personality and demeanor are very Millsap. Quiet, lead by example kind of guy. No off the court red flags.
