Following potential 2012 draftees

PKM - what site do you like to follow for mock drafts and player analysis? Any site out there you find to be the most reliable/up to date?

Actually I really like the player write ups on nbadraft.net and draftexpress on international player. As it gets closer to the draft dx starts doing better with their write ups.

Burke's shooting percentages across the board would be my biggest worry.

Also 5' 11" with no hops. How does he finish?

The only thing I find intriguing about the guy from what little I've found is how young he is. His decision to turn pro doesn't sound like a terribly wise or mature thing to do given his season and his physical tools, and I personally put a premium on my PGs being wise/mature. It's kind of what the position is about.

Machado slipped down the board in DX's latest (very preliminary) mock. Interesting.

Machado, Crowder, and D.Miller are second-round gems. I'm sure the FO doesn't want three rookies next year, but I'd take any two of these guys and the highest BPA of the first round.

Marshall FTW?

It looks like Barnes' stock has fallen since the tourney (and rightfully so), so here's a question: if Barnes fell to us at #8, would you take him?

I would say a hell yes. As one sided as Barnes is he is just what we need. All his negatives are taken up in our other players. He is not a good rebounder but all our bigs are and or 2 are pretty good also. He his not a great passer but hayward and burks are.

I drool with the idea of Barnes coming off the curl to bury shot after shot.

Besides we need some one to replace cj!

My position is that if the Jazz get two picks, they should draft Marshall and a SF with scorer's potential. If the Jazz get one... then I think I lean Lillard.

Getting to the question, based on hype alone, you probably do. I'm not in love with Barnes and he's shown how important it is for him to get his shots in his spots, and that could be a nice fit here. PG play would be important, though.
