Following potential 2012 draftees

Would you guys be willing to trade the Memo TPE to absorb Darko's contract and get the #18 pick back from Minnesota? Maybe they'd even take Raja Bell in some scenario.
 
Just finished finals and caught up in this thread's rumblings, so here it goes...

I like Marshall, but wouldn't trade any of The Four to acquire him. But I would probably trade the GS pick for him, if we don't end up getting it this year.

Some of you guys need to relax about Kanter. Have you all forgotten how Hayward looked like a deer in headlights most of last year? I have a lot of faith in the guy. He's already a better rebounder and defender than Al. So yeah, plenty of room for optimism.

And why has Burks suddenly become so involved in trade ideas? He's already the second best wing we have next to Hayward and I expect him to make huge strides next year.

I do like Burks, but I'd trade him for a solid future PG without even blinking...

Yeah, some have been saying draft Marshall 8th if the Jazz got the GS pick THIS year.
So if the Jazz don't get the pick this year and have to wait til '13, but are able to still trade it for Marshall then it'd be like they got it this year anyway. I'd do that. The pick in '13 will be worse in a worse draft. I am only partially sold on Marshall - still have some doubts - so giving up the worse pick in a worse draft sounds fine to me.

I'm still unsure about Marshall's perceived value vs. actual value. but that's another topic.
Yeah, if you can trade the '13 pick for him then do it.

But the Jazz are getting the 8th pick this year.

My thought process exactly. I'd also be fine with taking a gamble on someone like PJ3 and going after Dragic in free agency.
