Following potential 2012 draftees

It was a good read. Thanks for posting.

I agree, sometimes we place too much emphasis on possible upside. The Jazz aee in a great position to swing for the stars though. They have a great core of talent, they just need the one missing piece that could make all the difference.

I must admit, DLamb and DMiller are guys that I would like to see in a Jazz uniform. I wonder if it does make sense to try and trade to get Bostons two late first round picks. We could get exactly what we want there.

And before anyone jumps on me for sacking up to PKM, know this. The reason I like both players is very simple, shooting and attitude. Lamb could run the offense and provide better shooting and defense then Harris. Miller could be an amazing role player to fill and wing role that is needed as well as floor spacing.

I agree. I'd take any picks right now, anywhere. It is a definite that the Jazz are really eyeing someone specific in the mid-first round. Would love to know .. but I haven't been able to find anyone that has any info on who that is.

DMiller is very intriguing for all the reasons we've talked about earlier in this thread. Miller could play a pure SG role, a pure SF role .. stretch the floor, defends very well .. and is a glue-guy. As the article was indicating, his combination of polish and skillset are what every team needs .. and likely why the Spurs are trying to pick him up.

Well, I might get destroyed for this. I love Burks and was so happy that we got him. He has great upside. With hat being said I would seriously consider Burks for Bostons two late first rounders. I don't know if Boston goes for that though.

Interesting.

nbadraft.net has Boston taking DLamb and Royce White.
DX has Boston taking Tony Wroten and Moe Harkless.

I'd be very tempted to trade Burks for DLamb and Royce White.
DLamb can become very serviceable as a backup PG (in addition to playing his more suitable SG role). Royce White could be a very good point-forward.

I'd have to give it thought, but certainly doesn't sound crazy.

I think Burks is definitely the black sheep in regards to how he might fit in here (for better or worse), but I would not trade him for two late 1st rounders.

Yeah, agreed on not trading Burks. He may not fit with our starting lineup, but he could be a great scoring 6th man.

Though if we could get Royce White for him I might do it because it would be really interesting to watch him develop as a player.

I could see D.Lamb being like Gary Neal on the Spurs.
